Tuesday, May 13, 2025 "Boldness" Message summary: Today we encourage each of you to continue to express your faith in the resurrected, ascended and coming Christ with boldness as you patiently await His coming Kingdom! Listen
to our message
on your audio
player. We sure need boldness in our age. We consider Riley Gaines, a swimmer who has taken a bold stand against the perverseness of men (who are pretending to be women) participating in women's sports. Who would have imagined just 20 years ago that such a stand would be needed? And she is viciously attacked but stays bold. Just today we read comments on an article about her. Gaines is a Christian and has stated that her faith has shaped her activism. An amazing
thing has
happened in
our lifetime.
Today in many
places it is
increasingly
politically
correct and
even
considered
enlightened to
mock God as
well as
traditional
and Biblical
standards of
morality. At
the same time
one standing
up for God and
Biblical
standards of
morality may
very well be
seen as
intolerant,
bigoted,
hateful, and
ignorant! Be encouraged today! Hebrews 3:13 Stephen & Brooksyne Weber
Update on Ester: Once again, we thank you for praying for our daughter, Ester. Yesterday she had a nice slow day at home and will be off work for the next week rebuilding her strength. We were blessed by the many emails, calls and texts of concern. Today's Suggested Music and Supplemental Resources
"My Labour is Not in Vain" Watch on YouTube CityAlight ![]() Yesterday
I joined my
brother and a
special friend
for lunch at
the Shady
Maple. My
brother, Pat
(right) and
Roger became
friends while
serving in
Europe in the
military
during the
late 60's. At
that time Pat
became a
Christian.
When Pat came
home he shared
the Gospel
with me and
challenged me
to accept
Christ but I
rejected.
Several months
later Roger,
Pat and I
attended a
crusade in
Kansas City
with
Evangelist
Lowell
Lundstrom who
had an altar
call. Roger
asked me if I
would like to
accept Christ
as my Savior
and I did! I
don't suppose
I've seen him
in some 50
years.
Roger
is now retired
but farmed in
Minnesota the
latter part of
his career and
over 20 years
raised some
3.5 million
broilers
(chicken for
meat). Prior
to that he
worked in the
logging
industry but
that ended due
to the
"spotted owl".
Yesterday I
took them for
a drive
through the
Lancaster
countryside
and down to
visit Jesse on
the Old
Windmill Farm.
Nice to see
tow farmers
from different
cultures share
together.
Adding icing
to the cake a
of a good
visit is that
it's my
brothers
birthday
today,
although he
missed the
free Shady
Maple birthday
meal!
![]() Rain
was falling
this morning
as I picked up
the Amish
school
teachers. I
spotted an
empty hay
wagon sitting
out in the
field
having done
its duty hours
before the
rain began.
And we have
several days
of rain
forecast. It
was sure good
to get that
hay in!

Finally
today:
We
saw
"Plantaholic"
posted in the
Amish
Greenhouse a
couple miles
up the road
from us on
Saturday. Of
course,
Stephen had to
make a comment
about his
Plantaholic
wife. I asked
the girl at
the cash
register, "You
like
Plantaholics,
don't you!"
She responded
with a big
smile, "Yes we
sure do!"
