summary:
By virtue of
mankind's
fallen
condition we
are engaged in
the “good
fight”, an
ancient
conflict in
the spiritual
realm. Kneeling on this battleground Seeing just how much You've done Knowing every victory Was Your power in us
Life is a battleground as we daily struggle against the forces of evil (Ephesians 6:10ff) while we "fight the good fight" (1 Timothy 6:12). There
is an ongoing
conflict in
the spiritual
realm that is
unavoidable
and we have no
choice in
whether or not
we engage. By
virtue of
mankind's
fallen
condition we
are engaged. Today we consider the phrase in Paul's commission to Timothy and through Scripture it is for all of us to, "Fight the good fight of the faith". There should no spiritual neutrality. Prior to his conversion to Christ on the road to Damascus Paul was fighting (literally) a bad fight opposing Christ and His cause. But that dramatically changed when he literally saw the light (Acts 9:3)! There are many bad fights in life but not all fighting is bad. The
“good
fight” is
an ancient
conflict in
the spiritual
realm that
goes back to
the fall of
Satan. As the
great old hymn
declares, “For
still our
ancient foe
[Satan], doth
seek to work
us woe, his
craft and
power are
great, and
armed with
cruel hate, on
earth is not
his equal". Let us all stand up for God’s truth and righteousness in the home, the workplace, the marketplace and in some instances you might even have to take a stand in your own church. I am convinced the battle will become increasingly more fierce before Christ’s return. Let us resolve in our hearts to remain faithful to our divine call no matter how great or small the conflict! Let us fight the good fight. And
when our time
comes may we,
like Paul,
state, “I
have fought
the good
fight”. Be encouraged today, Hebrews 3:13. Stephen & Brooksyne Weber

Luis
has been
attaching
fittings to
hoses for 23
years at
Kleen-Rite, a
company that
sells car wash
supplies. He
estimates that
he has made
some 750 hoses
per day. If
you've ever
washed your
car at a car
wash it likely
uses a hose
that Luis
made! If
you've washed
your car at a
self-serve car
wash you've
personally
held onto a
hose made by
him. On Friday
he retired and
finished well.
I always
enjoyed my
visits with
him and grew
accustomed to
his fond

Last

the nature of

individual
companies we
have been able
to phase into
partial

over the last
several years
from a peak of
12 companies
we served
before covid
to our present

many of our

decreased in
recent years
so we have
lightened our
