Ministry to the marketplace and business world.

I have a great burden and interest regarding ministry in the workplace. It is a very fertile field of ministry. Many are not connected to any church and thus there is an evangelistic component. Christians also need encouragement at work, even if they are part of a local church and have a good support system.  During my 25 years of pastoring I enjoyed visiting members of the churches I served where they worked. I always encouraged them to see their work as ministry. When I began Daily Encouragement Net in 1996 the initial recipients of the email message were two people at work. In 1998 began working part-time with a national agency that places chaplains in workplace situations as an Employee Assistance Program. From 2001-2004 I worked for this company in a full-time position, resigning in 2004.

My present burden is to have a component of Daily Encouragement Net to encourage ministry in the workplace. The following materials will hopefully spur on interest in this type of ministry.
